POSTPARTUM SUPPORT

Premium doula care for you, baby, and family.

DAYTIME BLISS,

nighttime peace.

No matter what kind of postpartum support you’re looking for, our doulas have you covered.

Postpartum Doulas are your in-home mom, family, & baby professional!

Your doula will assist in adapting to “baby life” and help ensure it is a smooth transition. From daytime support to overnight sleep care - we’ve got you covered. This type of service can be tailored to whatever best fits your needs.

Daytime support usually ranges between 4-6 hours per in-home visit, lasting until about 8pm. This allows us adequate time to tend to all of your needs as well as assess your recovery and make tailored, educated suggestions best suited for you. Overnight support is typically 10 hours in length and begins in the evening between 8pm - 10pm.

OVERNIGHT SUPPORT

Maybe you’re currently awaiting the arrival of your sweet baby, or your bundle of joy is already here (and you haven’t slept in what feels like forever). No matter what stage you’re in, our overnight doulas are here to join your team and provide the premium support you need.

Why choose a postpartum doula for overnight care?

Great question!

Firstly, postpartum doulas are not just caring for your baby - they’re caring for you! We’re specifically trained to help you recover and navigate through the physical, emotional, mental and hormonal adjustments that come with having a baby.

Secondly, a doula comes to join your team, becoming an extension of yourself in the care of your baby. The expertise and knowledge we provide as Newborn Care Specialists will support and protect your personal parenting style, not replace it.

Great nights turn into great days.

Our overnight doulas will use their vast education, experience and training in getting your baby their best rest possible (while you’re getting yours) so their time with you during the day is filled with giggles, kisses, and snuggles. It’s a win-win!

So, what does overnight doula support look like?

Let’s take a look:

1. Your doula will arrive in the evening and talk with you a bit to answer any questions you may have.

2. You’ll head to bed and fall asleep while she gently cares for your sweet baby.

3. When baby is asleep your doula will take care of some basic home tasks, such as bottle washing, fold laundry, wash pumping parts, and etc.

4. When it’s time for a feeding, your doula will bring your baby to you to nurse or she will bottle feed while you continue to sleep.

5. After your baby’s tummies are full, your doula will change their diaper, burp them, and get them ready to go back down to sleep.

6. During the remainder of the night, your doula will tend to any and all of your baby’s needs while helping them get their best rest possible.

7. In the morning you’ll wake up, maybe grab a cup of coffee, and wonder if last night was even real! After realizing your amazing night wasn’t just a dream, you’ll greet your smiley baby ready to make heartwarming memories with you.

8. Your doula will brief you on the entire night and answer any questions you have to help you for the day.

Let our doulas turn your nights into a dream!

SUPPORT STORIES

  • "All of our team had extensive newborn experience and helped us as new parents navigate and build the confidence we needed for anything from breastfeeding to diapering to understanding developmental stages. We now have a 3 month old who sleeps well, knows how to self-soothe, and is operating ahead of the curve. While I’d love to credit my genes for some of that I know it is more to do with the solid start, foundations, and guidance we were given by our doula team."

    Rachel M.

  • "I don't think I could imagine bringing home our baby without the love and support from Christine our doula. She was so warm and kind and professional and took such amazing care of myself and our baby. I was able to rest and without any worry knowing my baby was in good hands."

    Veronika G.

  • "I didn't think I’d actually be able to find someone to help me out on the holiday, but within an hour Sarah was able to match me with the best doula to come overnight. Lauren was amazing! She kept the baby with her all night so my husband and I could get a full uninterrupted nights sleep! In the morning we felt like we got the recharge we needed. She went over how the baby did, as well as gave us tips on sleep routines, night feedings, and breast pumping. Lauren was incredible and we can’t thank her enough!"

    Kelly L.

  • "I had Christine do a few overnights a week for about 8 weeks and I can’t say enough amazing things about her! She has such a gentle soul, and it made me feel so comfortable leaving my baby in her hands. She gave me great breastfeeding tips as well, and was so knowledgeable on all things postpartum. I definitely recommend Forever Doula to help you find the perfect match for you, and you will not regret choosing Christine!"
