It all begins with our prenatal appointments. During this time, we help map out your birth plan based on your preferences. Our goal is for you to have your birth, your way - no judgment! When it’s time for baby to be born, we will be there with you every step of the way making you feel safe, secure, and confident that you can do this!

  • • Initial meeting to connect and discuss the birth plan (virtual)

    • E-mail, text, and phone support from now until, well… forever (we mean it!)

    • In-home visit to discuss expectations, hopes, and concerns for labor. We will offer suggestions for helpful supplies, as well as review labor pain coping strategies in your home setting.

    • Breastfeeding preparation and education

  • • 24/7 on call beginning two weeks before your due date.

    • Support and assistance from active labor throughout the entire birth process, whether homebirth, birthing center or hospital.

    • Massage and position techniques to increase comfort as well as progress labor efficiently.

    • Breathing techniques for every stage of labor.

    • Work together with your partner so they can be an active participant in your support.

    • Organize transfer to hospital or birthing center.

    • If desired, take photos of labor, birth, and early postpartum.

    • Provide and maintain a calm, supportive and reassuring setting for your birth experience.

    • Make sure your birth plan wishes are being honored and advocated for in the hospital.

    • If medical interventions are necessary, we will help you understand your options so you can make an informed decision.

  • • Breastfeeding support, assisting in the baby’s first latch and making sure you are comfortable and confident.

    • In-home visit, typically a few days after birth. This allows your doula to assist you in recovery and provide extensive breastfeeding assistance, including management of engorgement, prevention of common issues, ensuring adequate milk supply, proper latch, effective positioning and more.
